Small
Group
Hikes
Small-group Hikes are perfect for pups who love being out in nature with their canine pals, frolicking, sniffing the trails and exploring an enriching environment. With Waggle Trails, hikes are small groups of 2-4 dogs to ensure that each pup receives the attention they need to stay safe and have a blast. A lot of thought and care goes into groupings to make sure that all pups get along in the car and on the path. As hikes are group outings, Waggle Trails limits this service to dogs who are “friendly” and able to contribute to a safe space for their fellow canine buds during the outing. The info you provide on your Contact Form and insight gleaned from the Meet-n-Greet will allow Waggle Trails to find the right outing for you and your fuzzy friend. Hikes include 60-90 minutes of trail time, pickup and drop-off, treats, doggy bags and lots of love & enrichment. Clients can expect their pup to be away from home for 1 - 3 hours depending on how much fun we’re having, weather, safety, traffic, and distance between client homes. Hikes are $60 per outing, and any second pup is half off. Click here to learn more about pricing at Waggle Trails

SOLO HIKES
Solo Hikes are perfect for dogs who require more 1 on 1 attention and care, such as slower moving senior pups, tripods, dogs with reactivity, super strong and energetic pups, those with very very strong prey drive, and young pups who are still learning leash manners and respecting the boundaries of others. Solo Hikes include 45 minutes of trail time, pickup and drop-off, treats, doggy bags and lots of love & enrichment. Solo Hikes are $45 per outing and any siblings are half off. Why these prices?

When you choose Waggle Trails for your pet care needs you know your fur baby is in trusted hands. Michelle has over 5 years of experience in pet care, and R+ training experience for dogs with reactivity, fear and anxiety. Each outing & service includes treats, doggy bags, gear (long leashes, toys, seatbelts, etc), pick-up/drop-off, transportation to/from the trail, towels, and more at no extra cost. These rates make it possible to provide reliable and specialized services while getting paid a livable wage. Some other dog-hiking groups offer lower rates in order to prioritize their profits by taking large groups of dogs into the woods. This practice makes it impossible to manage all dogs on leash so many of them go off-leash regardless of their inability to recall reliably, and end up lost or approaching reactive dogs which is dangerous for everyone.
At Waggle Trails the groups are small (2-4 dogs), allowing for thoughtful groupings to make sure pups get along with each other, are accounted for and safe while adventuring. With small-group dog hiking Michelle is able to prioritize safety and the needs of each pup in her care. At the end of each outing you will receive complimentary and adorable photos & videos of your fur baby, with a thoughtful summary of how their outing went. When you choose Waggle Trails you know that there will be clear communication, transparency, reliable service and safety measures you can trust. Whether it be untangling some nature from your dog's fluff, washing down a muddy retriever, giving your senior dog a quick yard break, or keeping your anxious dog safe & comfortable, Michelle will always go the extra mile to ensure your pets' wellbeing.
